Reading for today
Old Testament: Ezekiel 43, 44, 45, 46
Thoughts from today’s reading
Ezekiel 46:16-18. When the Prince gives an inheritance to his sons, it belongs to them forever, but when he gives it to a servant, then it will belong to the servant until the year of liberty. We are the sons of God, so when Jesus came to proclaim the year of liberty in Luke 4:18-19, He was also proclaiming that all that was in the hands of servants has now been restored to the ownership of the sons. Galatian 4:1-7 also speaks of our transition from being under servants to being heirs of God and Christ.
Prayer
1. Father, I thank you that you have delivered to me an inheritance of life, health, peace, love, joy and every good thing I require to live an abundant life. I declare that whatever was under the hand of servants has now been delivered unto me through Christ Jesus who came to proclaim that the year of liberty is now. I receive all that is rightfully mine and I call them to show up in my life right now in Jesus’ name, amen.
