Day 170

Reading for today
Old Testament: Psalm 30, 31, 32
New Testament: Ephesians 2

Thoughts from today’s reading
Psalm 32:1-2. The one who has been forgiven is described as blessed. The freedom from sin is the best thing that can ever happen to any human being because the one who has been cleansed will have unhindered access to God.

Ephesians 2:4-10. By the mercy of God and His great love, we have been given grace by which we have been saved. All we had to do was believe what He offered us, therefore, we cannot boast in anything we could have done to let us into such a wonderful place with God.

Prayer
1. Thank you Lord for the forgiveness and cleansing from sin. Hallelujah that we can come continually into your presence and sit at your feet. We rejoice in this great blessing of unhindered access to the Father, for there we find His guidance, the fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.
2. Lord, we praise you for mercy which grants us grace by which we have been saved. Thank you that our faith is based upon your great goodness and love, therefore, it shall never be disappointed nor will it ever fail. We lay aside anything that we can boast of because everything that is good in us and for us has come from you.
