Day 183

Reading for today
Old Testament: Psalm 69, 70, 71
New Testament: 1 Thessalonians 1

Thoughts from today’s reading
Psalm 71:14-16. There are no limits on the salvation of God, so we can declare it continually. His power never runs out and will be available for as many people that need it and in as many situations that we need His help.

1 Thessalonians 1:5. The gospel of Jesus Christ is filled with power, the Holy Spirit and much assurance for the one who believes. His power will deliver us and change any situation, His Holy Spirit will comfort us and His assurance will keep our hearts in peace for we know that all things will work out for our good.

Prayer
1. Hallelujah, thank you Lord God Almighty that there are no limits to what you can do. This day I come to you lifting up every request I have in every situation I face, and I receive an outflow of your mercy, grace, righteousness, peace and power for my self and for those around me. Thank you that you save to the uttermost, therefore I rest in this confidence that it is well with my soul.
2. Thank you Father for the gospel of Jesus Christ, for in it we have access to your power, Holy Spirit and assurance of our faith. We resolve to keep following Jesus Christ in all situations because in Him is life and all things that we need. We can say that all things work together for our good because we are loved by God therefore we will not fear.
