Thoughts from today’s reading
Isaiah 54:16-17. It is the Lord who made every material that is used to make a weapon. He is also the maker of the one who invents a weapon and puts it together. He knows intricately the weapon, and the one that wields it, therefore, when that weapon comes against His children, He knows how to make it fail.
Revelation 7:9-10. There was a multitude of people from every people, nation, tribe and tongue who could not be numbered, standing before the throne of God. These had all washed their robes in the blood of The Lamb. There is a place before God for everyone, His gates of salvation are open for every single human being to come to Him. We must compel the nations to come to Him.
Prayer
1. Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are the maker of all things and you have power over all. This is my confidence when the enemy comes against me with weapons of war to harm me. I declare today that there is no weapon formed against me that can prosper. I say every attack on my life and family, be it by words, spoken or written, lawful or unlawful, fails today in Jesus name. Any physical, digital, chemical, biological or spiritual substance that has been carefully crafted to destroy my life, my spouse and my children, I announce today that they fail and are neutralised by the power of God. Thank you Father for great is your mercy towards my family and you keep us safe through Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
2. Lord Jesus, you paid the price for all, you shed your blood so that all men would be saved. We cry out to you in intercession today for the hearts and souls of those who do not know you and have not heard about your wonderful offer of salvation. Father we pray that you send out labourers into every region of harvest which has resisted the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Grant your church the wisdom and power to penetrate every such region, that we may bring a multitude of souls to your kingdom, for there is much room in your house for all.
