Day 264

Reading for today
Old Testament: Jeremiah 48, 49, 50, 51

Thoughts from today’s reading
Jeremiah 50:20. This is a wonderful promise of God that He will pardon the one who He will preserve. Our sins and iniquity, which need to be pardoned, are the very things that are responsible for exposure to destruction which we need to be preserved from. We thank God that through Jesus Christ our sins have been forgiven and our lives have been hidden in Christ who is in God, to preserve us from every form of destruction, whether spiritually, physically or emotionally.

Prayer
1. Father, we come to you with a heart of gratitude thanking you for your great love by which you chose to preserve us from the destruction that follows a life of sin. We are confident that in the midst of trouble, rather than seeing death and destruction, our soul will be revived. Thank you for preserving us spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and in every other way. We give you all the praise through Jesus Christ, amen.
