Day 270

Reading for today
Old Testament: Ezekiel 15, 16, 17, 18

Thoughts from today’s reading
Ezekiel 16:1-14. This portion of scripture shows a great analogy of the love that God has for us. He is the one that has taken us from birth and commanded life over us and preserved us. He is the one that has come into a covenant with us like a man marries a bride, and He has adorned us with all the goodness in Himself.

Prayer
1. Heavenly Father, O what a love you have bestowed on us that in securing life for us you sent your Son, the righteous one Jesus Christ, to take our place in death and give us His place in life. You saw us in the depravity of our existence and the bondage of sin and you declared over us with power and authority, Live! Thank you for life in our spirit, in our soul and in our body. Wherever death is looming we declare life, wherever depression and discouragement is operating, we declare hope and peace. Wherever sicknesses and diseases are prevalent, we speak health and wholeness there. We shout it out to ourselves today, live! Live an abundant life! Live a righteous life! Live a healthy life! Live a successful life! In the name of Jesus we declare light, we declare life, we declare live!
