Ezekiel 24:15-22. The Lord uses all things to get his message across to His people. The prophets life was a model that God used to show the people what He would do with them. The death of Ezekiel’s wife was to show the Israelites that they would experience the same and they would not have the opportunity to mourn in the day of their judgement for the iniquity they had committed in the land.
Prayer
1. Father, your word says that you make all things work together for our good. You also said there is no temptation that happens to us that we cannot bear. May our lives be used to declare your truth, and may our experiences, good or bad, be used to bring glory to your name. Father, we trust you that in all things our lives would be a message to turn many from darkness to light, from the paths of death to the way of righteousness and life.
